UNESCO Laureate, Professor Sir Bashiru Aremu has hailed the appointment of Dr. Bikash Sharma as Pro Chancellor, Franco-British International University, Kaduna as His Royal Highness (HRH) Duke of the Kingdom of Atlantis In Singapore commends development, management of FBIU tasks Dr. Bikash on international standards, global quality Higher Education.
Prof Aremu made this remark in a press statement made available to some group of journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by his Executive Assistant On Media, Publicity and Communication Matters, Comrade Bieni Victor Emenike as Prof Aremu hailed the appointment of Dr. Bikash Sharma as Pro Chancellor Of Franco-British International University, Kaduna, attests to Sharma’s capacity and world-class to deliver in line University’s vision.
UNESCO Laureate sees a Pro Chancellor as an officer of some Universities in Common Wealth Countries who act as deputy to the Chancellor even as practical Chairman of the University Council. The Pro Chancellor plays major role in the oversight of the University business; oversees the academic direction of the University and deputises in many duties in an absence of the Chancellor. The Chancellor is the Honorary Head of the University from time to time in a ceremonial or Ambassadorial capacity. The Vice-Chancellor act as the CEO of the University.
Prof Aremu while congratulating Dr. Bikash Sharma on his appointment as Pro Chancellor Of Franco-British International University, Kaduna stated that, Dr. Bikash who is also, a member of Grand Board of Trustees, Chartered Da Vinci International University, USA is a management professional with over 20 years of experience in the Education, Management, Human Resources & IT enabled service domain.
UNESCO Laureate while commending the management of FBIU, Kaduna on Dr. Bikash Sharma’s appointment extolled the intimidating profile of the world educator. The statement by Prof Aremu reads in parts: “Dr. Bikash Sharma is a management professional with over 20 years of experience in the Education, Management, Human Resources and IT Enabled Services domain”.
“Dr. Sharma is currently the President and Founder Trustee of the International Academic and Management Association (IAMA) which was established with his efforts in the year 2013. Since his early working days, Dr. Sharma had a keen inclination towards education and wanted to do something which would make education more practical, dynamic, boundary-less and affordable for all. His dream became a reality with IAMA”.
