Special Assistant Political to the Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, Ambassador Uyero Erarawewho Jnr has raised hope in Isoko Nation, Delta State as he today concluded his two days Youths Skill Acquisition Training as beneficiaries from different communities in the area commends his Initiative towards boosting Entrepreneurship Development.
The media learnt this today being on Thursday, 28th day of July, 2022 while briefing some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital on the outcome of his two days Skill acquisition training to boost entrepreneurship development for the Youths in his political ward, which took place at Araya Community Town Hall on 27th to 28th July, 2022 in Aviara Ward 3, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to him, the training was very successful as the trainees, beneficiaries were trained how to manufacture some products on their own; not only in theory but in practice in the following areas: Liiquid Soaps making, Car Wash detergents, Liquids making, Air Fresher Liquids, and Insecticides Liquids making.
The epoch-making event which according to the Governor’s Aide was declared open by the Senior Political Adviser to the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa On Political Matters, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, who was able represented by Chief Godspower Obaro, PDP Chairman, Isoko South LGA and SSA Political to the Governor who gave nod to the skills acquisition initiative, which he likened Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s model of Vocational and Technical Education.
The organizer, Comr. Ambassador Uyero Erarawewho Jnr told the media during the interview that the purpose of the skills training is to create wealth and a better livelihood for his Community Youths, fellow ward members, Isoko citizens as entrepreneurship development is the new way to go. He added that, he believes with this training, the beneficiaries should be able to use it, not only helping themselves but to train others in the nearest future.
The Senior Political Adviser, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, ably represented by Isoko South Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PD), Chief Godspower Obaro has Commended the skills acquisition initiative put together for Youths in Isoko Nation by Governor Okowa’s aide on Political Matters as he stated that he believes that Comrade AMB. Uyero Erarawewho Jnr is learning well from his Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Isoko South LGA PDP Boss noted that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s Vocational and Technical Education model is that, “he has set up different skills across the state to help create employment and reduce poverty in the State”. He then enjoined other Political Appointtess of the Governor to emulate the gestures and help to compliment the efforts of the State Government in the promotion of skills development in Delta State.
Chief Godspower Obaro also admonished Uyero to keep up the good works, that he is been noticed by the authorities in the State. The number of participants was drawn from the ward, Communities as beneficiaries of the skills acquisition program were 30 persons. Ufuoma Agbavigho, who spoke on behalf of the participants, beneficiaries thanked Uyero, the organizer as they were very glad on the Initiative put together to boost their entrepreneurial and employability skills and pray that the God of Araya will keep, bless and protect him always.
Speaking also is the Araya Community Chairman, Mr. Ogbogbo Moses, who also gave commendation to the initiative of Comr. Uyero Erarawewho Jnr for always reaching out to the people of the community in one way or the other and prayed God’s protection, blessings and wisdom should visit him.
He also appealed to the Senior Political Adviser on the need to reach out to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the need to renovate the town hall of Araya Community and the road to the Bible Site in Isoko South LGA, Delta State. Uyero’s ward 3 Secretary, Hon Jehoshaphat Odizeh Oghenewoware also commended the exercise, while thanking the Governor’s aide for his good works towards promoting the good image of the party, PDP at grassroots level.
