*Delta North Senatorial Elections 2023: Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Delta State Chapter Wishes NNPP Candidate, Dr. Mrs Marian Nneamaka Ali (aka Enyikpakpando)The Best Outing.*

The name Dr. Mrs. Marian Ali popularly known as the ENYIKPAKPANDO needs no introduction. She has shown interest in the Delta North Senatorial seat since 2007 and has fought battles with men of timber and calibre for the coveted seat and succeeded in making her mark.
The COALITION OF UNITED POLITICAL PARTIES (CUPP) in Delta State has always maintained a standard as far as showcasing aspirants or candidates are concerned. We are particularly interested in the candidature of Dr. Mrs Marian Ali principally because she is one of us as she is contesting the Delta North Senatorial seat under the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP and NNPP is one of the Political Parties that founded CUPP in Delta State. Again, since 1999 only men have occupied the Delta North senatorial seat. This time we believe we should give an opportunity to a woman like Dr. Mrs Marian Ali who has been contesting for the Senate seat since 2007.

It in view of this that the CUPP in Delta State has decided to THROW IT’S FULL WEIGHT behind her Senatorial bid
The COALITION OF UNITED POLITICAL PARTIES in Delta State felt constrained this time to showcase the qualities of this woman of substance who has brought glamour to Delta North Politics and who had trodden on a path that most women fear to tread. We recall that in 2020, the youths of Nigeria became endeared to Dr. Mrs. Ali for her courageous Press Release condemning the killing of Nigerian youths in the Nation. In that Press Release, Dr. Mrs. Ali described the killings as ‘wickedness of the highest order’ and that the slain youths will be ‘remembered for their patriotism/commitment towards ensuring good governance’.

Dr. Mrs. Ali is passionate about the development of Delta North Senatorial District. In 2019 she said, “Anioma is a blessed land endowed with both human and natural resources”. Continuing she said, “We have all it takes to make the land a piece of pride”. Unfortunately, we have never had the right people in place of trust, most especially elected individuals who are supposed to be our voice in the National Assembly but they have ended up representing their pockets and expounding their private investments with the money meant for constituency projects.

This kind of brave statement coming from Mrs. Marian Ali is salutary and reveals the inner strength of her character.

In 2019 also, the former DG, Enyikpakpando Campaign Organization, Barr. Anthony Ogbolu had described Mrs. Marian Ali as a “disciplinarian, a courageous woman who always stands for what is right no matter the situation”. She has trained people, her certificates are complete and she has never stolen nor diverted public funds for selfish interest. She didn’t forge certificate, never been indicted for any crime but has supported and made a lot of persons who they are today”. This tribute to Mrs. Ali summarizes her persona and lends credence to the fact that she deserves to be considered for the Senate seat she desires to have.

Dr. Mrs. Marian Nneamaka Ali was born on 16th December 1954. She attended Saint Matthias Primary School, Lafiaji Lagos and Government Demonstration Primary School.
She further went to the Holy Child College Ikoyi Lagos, Queen of the Rosary College and passed her WAEC and GCE O level (London). For her Post Secondary, she attended the Federal School of Science, Victoria Island Lagos (1973-1975) and also the University of Jos where she had her second MB.

And between 1979 to 1986 she attended the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where she bagged her MBBS.
