Special Assistant (SA) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa On Political Matters and State Coordinator, Core Delta Youth, Amb. Uyero Erarawewho Jnr. has said that he is strongly convinced that the Gubernatorial Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming 2023 general elections in Delta State & Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is competent and has the capacity to play the roles of a unifying factor if elected come 2023.
The media learnt this from the State Coordinator, “Core Delta Youth”, Amb. Uyero Erarawewho Jnr. in a press statement made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba Delta State capital today being on Sunday, December 18, 2022 as he appealed to Deltans to throw their weight behind the Delta PDP Candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to emerge as the next Governor of Delta State.
Core Delta Youth is a formidable Socio-political pressure group with structures across Delta State with core values of unity, peace, love, resilience and good governance. Core Delta Youth has reiterated its commitment towards ensuring that PDP clinches to victory in Delta come 2023.
Ambassador Uyero, a member of Delta PDP Campaign Council has stated that Oborevwori remains the longest serving State Assembly Speaker in Delta State and the first Speaker in the State to serve at the forum as National officer, Deputy National Chairman of Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria. The group advises Deltans not to yield to the propaganda by some mischievous persons that, Oborevwori is only loyal to the current serving Governor, H.E, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa, that the Delta PDP Candidate had paid his dues, equally served the two former Governors of Delta State also loyal to Ibori and Uduaghan and other critical stakeholders in the politics of Delta State.

Sheriff Oborevwori has served as Councillor/ Supervisory Councillor for Works in 1996 in Old Okpe Local Government Area, which is inclusively the present Udu and Uvwie Local Government Areas of Delta State . Also he has served the other two former Governors in Delta State; former Governors Ibori and Uduaghan.No wonder the former Governors are fully in support of his Candidacy!”.
