….CGWCI FOUNDER SHAKES IGBIDE FOR FATHER’S FUNERAL

The Founder of the Courageous Girls Women and Children Initiative-CGWCI, Ambassador Ayovuata Courage Uyoyou laid her father Mr Richard Ogero Ayovuata, to rest in Igbide, Isoko South LGA of the Delta state on Friday 8th December 2023.
Known for upholding high moral standards, integrity, discipline and honesty , Richard Ogero Ayovuata was a man who frown at corruption and bribery and doesn’t tolerate people indulging in such around him.
He was the FIRST civil servant to rise to the position of grade Level 17 in Igbide community as a whole, a Nulge Chairman in Uvwie LGA for 2 consecutive tenures and a very committed and successful civil servant.
The event occasion which was the talk of the town was a somber yet classy affair that drew dignitaries from across the country.
The funeral also showcased the beautiful culture of the Igbide people, as traditional dancers delivered energetic performances to thrill guests.
The pallbearers, who were dressed in green and black outfits, also added an intriguing sight to the event, as they handled the casket in a spectacular manner to the delight of guests.
Notable personalities including members of the Environmental Health Officers Association (EHOA), Emore Grammar School 1980 class, NULGE, Civil Society Organisations, among many others graced the funeral ceremony to pay their last respect to Mr Richard Ogero Ayovuata.
