…As South-South Youth Leader Ask For More, Commends Gov. Okowa, DTSG On Massive Support Given To Delta Youths.

The Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter, and Comrade Ambassador Kenneth Okorie has said that Delta State Governor, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa has raised the bar of Governance in the State since 2015 to an enviable height as he commended the PDP Vice Presidential Candidate on his exploits in the Youth Development Sectors of the State.
Comrade Okorie, Delta number one Youth leader (s) who doubles as the South-South Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), made this disclosure today being on Saturday, 27th day of August, 2022 in his State office Secretariat at Asaba, Delta State capital as he applauded stakeholders on their contributions to Peace and Security of Deltans.
Comrade Kenneth Okorie while addressing newsmen commended Youths in the State and South-South Region of the country for being a model of peace in the country. He stated that, Delta at 31 is a time to celebrate the progress made by this present PDP administration in the area of Youth Development and other Sectors of the State economy.
Comrade Okorie while calling on Delta Youths to help Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to finish strong in his stronger Delta agenda policy urged the South-South Youths to protect the interest of their region for Development to thrive. He said that, since the creation of Delta from August 27,1991 till date, the state has recorded tremendous progress hence the need to roll out the drums to thank God for the milestone on the prevalence of unity in diversity, peace and Security in the State.
The leadership of the Council also thanked both the military administrators: Late Alex Ibru, Chief James Ibori, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and other democratically elected governors that have ruled the state in the last 31 years for their contributions to the growth of the state as the founding fathers of the State.
In his words: “ Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has raised the bar of Governance in Delta State since 2015. We are more united than ever. The Youths in the State are making progress. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has performed excellently not only in the infrastructural, Education, Health, Agricultural, ICT Sectors but most importantly in the Youth Development Sectors of the State Economy. The leadership of Delta State Youth Council also use this medium to appeal to Delta State Government not to relent on its support for more Democratic dividends for the Youths of the State.”
“No doubt, the gesture of STEP, YAGEP model adopted by Delta State Government on its Youth Entrepreneurship Development Programs has created room for sustainable, Socio-economic development, maintenance of political Stability towards crime rate reduction, minimized Youths restiveness and other social ills prevalent in Nigeria”.
