********University DON Hails UNESCO Laureate’s Remarkable Impact in 21st Century

Prof. Sir Bashiru Aremu, the First African UNESCO Laureate, has been commended by Professor of Human Resource Management, Professor Sir Nwafor Simon on his remarkable impact in the modern world of the 21st century.
Shocknaija Media (News Online) learnt this from the University DON in a telephone chat with our reporter today’ being Tuesday, October 21, 2025 as he hailed the numerous global awards and honors received by Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu.
According to Prof Simon, the various awards and global recognitions accorded to the VC, CUICI, USA are a testament to his outstanding contributions to education, science, and humanity.
In his words: “These prestigious awards recognize his dedication to promoting education, peace, and human rights. One of Prof. Aremu’s notable achievements is his receipt of the International Shakespeare Award for Literary Achievement in 2015”.
“This esteemed award, conferred by the International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England, highlights his exceptional literary contributions. Prof. Aremu has also been recognized for his outstanding work in science and research. He was awarded the Outstanding Scientist of the 21st Century by the International Academy for Science and Research in England and Wales in 2015”.

In addition to his academic achievements, Prof. Aremu has received several honors for his leadership and service to humanity. He was conferred with the title of “Oluomo of Ooduwa Youths” by the Oodua Youth Parliament in collaboration with the Congress of Nigerian Youth in 2019″.
