As part of efforts towards given honor to whom honor is due, The Executive Chairman of Oshimili South LGA, Obi Kelvin Ezenyili PhD, has received the Leadership of People’s Mandate, Delta State in an august visit as group appreciated his gesture political appointments given to some of their members at the grassroots level.
The media learnt this today being Monday, August 19, 2024 during a courtesy call by the group to the Executive Chairman of Oshimili South LGA, Hon. Dr. Ezenyili Obi was ably represented by the Vice-chairman of the Council, Hon. Chinye Hobobo who commended the visit as she urged them to continue in their usual support to the activities; programs and policies of Oshimili South LGA Council.
The delegation was led by the State Coordinator of People’s Mandate, Prince Philip Chukwuedo Igwenawanne, Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori On Political Matters alongside his State Secretary, Comr. Eboka Jideose Jude (Political Aide to the Executive Chairman Aniocha North LGA). The group were received at the Oshimili South Council Secretariat by Hon. Adim Dikedi, Supervisory Councillor For Environment, Oshimili South LGA who doubles as The Oshimili South LGA Coordinator of Peoples Mandate as well as other members of Peoples Mandate in the LGA.
Speaking During the visit, the Leadership of the delegation had stated that, the essence of the visit is to appreciate the Chairman for the political appointment so far given to some of their members in Peoples Mandate group in Oshimili South. According to People’s Mandate: “This is a true sense of responsibility and sense of belonging to had appointed our group’s Local Government Coordinator into his cabinet as a Supervisory Councillor and by extension putting other members into several other Committees in the Local Government”.
Speaking further, the State Secretary notified the Vice Chairman of the group’s intentions towards revamping the activities of the group in view of 2027 general elections so as to give future victory to Oshimili South LGA and the entire Delta North, while thanking the Executive Chairman for his exemplary Leadership.
Vice Chairman while welcoming the group, she thanked them on behalf of the Executive Chairman of Oshimili South LGA, Obi Kelvin Ezenyili as she encouraged the group to remain focus. In further response to the Leadership of the delegation, Hon. Hobobo appreciated the delegation as well as commended the efforts of the group’s leadership in Oshimili South LGA led Hon. Adim Dikedi as she recounted their several years of services, support to the party on different pedestals before the reward.
She also, appreciated The Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his commitment to the MORE AGENDA policy, while thanking the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa for the opportunities given to them to serve the people of Oshimili South LGA. Hon. Hobobo also, assured the delegation of the Executive Chairman’s reception of their compliments.
Finally, Mr George Ogoliegbune, the Coordinator Oshimili South Peoples Mandate (Ward 11) gave a vote of thanks as prayers were said for God’s sustained blessings and upliftment of members of the group- mentors and Patrons.
