Ambassador Uyero Erarawhewho, Special Assistant, to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori On Youth Mobilization, has congratulated his Boss, Rt. Hon. (Elder) F.O. Sheriff Oborevwori for recording numerous achievements in his one year administration in office as the Governor today marks one year anniversary as Delta State Governor.
Uyero made this disclosure today Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, in a Press statement made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State Capital as he stated that the Governor is committed to fulfilling his promises to Deltans in line with his M.O.R.E agenda policy.
Ambassador Uyero, an astute Youth leader who doubles as the State Coordinator, Core Delta Youth in the release has applauded the Governor to had recorded numerous Achievements in different economic sectors of the state, most especially in the Ministry of Work Urban and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Community Support Service and Girl Child Development which he said the Governor has not relent in building capacity and supporting Youths in the State.
While congratulating the Governor on his first anniversary, Uyero stated that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has shown competence in leadership going by his numerous infrastructural and other development strides across the three Senatorial Districts of the State. He then thanked Delta Youth and Deltans in general for their continuous support to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Administration.
The statement by Ambassador Uyero Erarawhewho reads in parts: “His Excellency Sir, I must commend your great achievements in our Dear State within one year of your administration in different economic sectors and across the three Senatorial Districts of Delta State. I will start with the three( 3) flyover projects handled by Julius Berger, also your leadership competence in peace-building initiative on the restoration of peace in Okuama village, and the M.O.R.E Grant your administration has given to Delta artisans and petty cash traders of over 5000 as well as the finishing of the modern high court project”.
“Congratulations once again Your Excellency Sir! I must also highlight some other of your achievements such as the completion of numerous roads and other legacy projects started by our amiable immediate part Governor, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa. You have shown that Government is a continuum by promoting democracy and ensuring that Deltans reap the dividends of Democracy”.
“Also, others such as payment of pension arrears to retired civil servants, Primary School Teachers; Health interventions, other efforts on maintenance of peace and Security in the State; recent Okada Ban in some areas Students Bursary payment, M.O.R.E grant schemes, First Lady’s You Matter Foundation, D-CARE support to less-privilege Deltans and other achievements so numerous to mention”.
“Finally, no doubt, your M.O.R.E agenda policy is being fulfilled and Deltans are very happy with your leadership style. We applaud your efforts in Youth Development Sector. We urge you to give more attention to the development, empowerment, and employment opportunities for Delta Youth.
