HRM, Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Alekwe II, The Obi of Mbiri Kingdom, has said that his 50Th Coronation Anniversary-Golden Jubilee is set to be a grand celebration.
The media learnt this in a press statement as co-signed by two notable Community leaders of Mbiri Kingdom: Prof Gideon Emelue and Hon Victor Iwekuba made available to Journalists at Mbiri, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State as the duo stated that the event commenced on Saturday, October 18, 2025, will feature a two-day program filled with various activities.
According to the release, the festivities will include an interdenominational thanksgiving service, cultural displays, dance, drama, book presentation, and recognition of outstanding individuals.
The statement reads in part: “The event will be graced by prominent dignitaries, including His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Immediate Past Governor of Delta State, as Chairman, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) .F.O. Sheriff Oborevwori, The Executive Governor of Delta State as Special Guest of Honor”.
“Other notable guests include HRM, Major General Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), Orhue I, CFR, MNI, The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom & Chairman of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, as Guest of Honor, and HRM, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor III, The Obi of Owa Kingdom, JP, OON, as Royal Father of the Day”.
“The celebration, which will climax on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Royal Palace of Mbiri Kingdom in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, promises to be an unforgettable experience”.
