As Head of Africa Regional Office of the Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNACCC), I am writing to express our deepest concern and condemnation of the post-election violence in Mozambique.

The Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNACCC) is global family, including our chapters in Asia, Africa, Europe America and Oceania stand in solidarity with UN ECOSOC in calling for an immediate end to the violence.

We urge all stakeholders to exercise restraint and promote peaceful dialogue to find a political solution to the situation.

I, UNESCO Laureate, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, The Head of Africa Regional Office of the Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNACCC), writing in support of Our Global Chairman, Prof Sir Dr. Rajat Sharma, appeals to our global family to join together in condemning this violence and promoting peace in Mozambique.
