Chief Dr Ogheneovo Edewor, Founder of Chief Ovo Edewor Foundation, has joined the entire Urhobo nation to mourn the demise of HRM, Barr Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe Owhorhu I, The Ovie of Udu Kingdom as he described the Late Monarch as a man of peace whose reign; legacy and contributions has brought unity and progress as well as unquantifiable development to Udu Kingdom.
Shocknaija Media (News Online) learnt this today being on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 in a statement made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, the Delta State capital as the Founder, Chief Ovo Edewor Foundation Commiserates with family of the Late Monarch, good people of Udu Kingdom, Delta State, and Nigeria at Large.
You could recall that on 16th of April , 2025 at the conference of Udu palace, the Otita of Udu Kingdom, Chief Sam Esiko Odibo (JP) announced the transition to glory of their Royal Monarch, HRM, Barr Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe Owhorhu I of Udu Kingdom in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Chief Dr Ogheneovo Edewor in the release stated that he is greatly pained over the demise of HRM, Barr Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe Owhorhu I of Udu Kingdom which he described as a great loss to entire Urhobo nation.
Chief Dr Edewor Ogheneovo’s tributes to late Monarch of Udu Kingdom reads in parts: “No doubt, Urhobo Nation, Delta State and Nigeria in general has lost of the one greatest Monarchs of our time, whose virtues, moral values and knowledge of traditions, customs and cultures is second to none. He symbolizes centre of learning and excellence cultural for the upcoming generations”.
