The Senate Committee Chairman On Crude Oil Theft, Senator Ned Nwoko has tasks Nigerian Military on the importance of Inter-Agency Collaboration so as to effectively combat the menace of crude oil theft while he stated that the fight against crude oil theft is a shared responsibility restated Committee’s commitment to viable reforms to put an end to illegal activities that threatens the country’s progress.

Shocknaija Media (News Online) learnt this today being Monday, March 3, 2025 in a chat with Senator Ned Nwoko as he shared briefly the outcome of Senate Committee Members’ recent visit to the Office of the Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.

Ned Nwoko then commended the Military and other Security Agencies for securing our nation’s resources and the efforts of his colleagues on implementable policies in combating menace, he stated that the Committee’s meetings with the CDS and his team focused on strengthening intelligence sharing, Inter-Agency Collaboration and improve surveillance so as to protect Nigeria’s natural wealth which is the country’s economic backbone

The Nigerian Senator who pledges commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, restated his Committee’s resolve towards securing a better future for Nigerians, working tirelessly to drive sustainable reforms, economic stability, improve oversight to combat the menace of crude oil theft.

In the words of Senator Ned Nwoko: “As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Crude Oil Theft, alongside my esteemed colleagues, I led a critical working meeting with the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and his team to address the persistent challenge of crude oil theft—a serious threat to our national economy and security”.
