Ahead of September 21st Local Government election in Enugu State, 17 Political Parties under the aegies of COALITION OF UNITED POLITICAL PARTIES (CUPP), Udenu Chapter has unanimously ENDORSED the PDP Chairmanship candidate, AKACHUKWU EZE AKACHUKWU as their consensus Candidate.
Addressing the journalists in their Secretariat at Obollo Affor,the Chairman of the Coalition, Comrade Odo Kelvin Ikechukwu who is also the UDENU LGA Chairman of the ALL PROGRESSIVE GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA) noted that AKA EZE AKA has shown to be the best candidate for the Chairmanship job.
According to Comrade Kelvin, we the uderlisted 17 Registered Political Parties out of 19 Registered Parties in Nigeria have decided to support the PDP candidate for the interest of peace, political stability, harmony and for the progress of UDENU LGA.
That AKA AKA EKA is a man loved by the people due to his clean past track records. We have also listened to his manifestos, followed his ward to ward campaign train and we are convinced that he is fully prepared for job. He is also the only candidate that has gotten overwhelmed and massive support across all wards of UDENU LGA.
During the Press briefing were the LGA Party Chairmen and their representatives of the following Political Parties: ACCORD, AA, APM, APP, ADC,APC, ADP, AAC, BOOT, APGA, PRP, SDP, YP, NNPP, ZLP, YPP, and NRM.
We are therefore calling on Labour Party Candidate(MR ONAH LINUS ONYEMAECHI), Obedient Movement,traditional rulers, Stakeholders and all well meaning UDENU sons and daughters to join hands with CUPP in restoring UDENU to its formal glory.
