*******EID-EL-FTR 2025: CHIEF OVO EDEWOR Urges Muslims To Show Love, Tolerance, Unity

As part of efforts towards showing a heartfelt solidarity with Muslims all over the world in this holy month to mark the end of fasting and prayers to celebrate eid-del-ftr Sallah 2025, CHIEF Dr. OGHENEOVO EDEWOR (JP) , the Founder of the CHIEF OGHENEOVO EDEWOR FOUNDATION, has called on Muslims across the globe to embrace love, tolerance, and unity as they mark the end of Ramadan.
Shocknaija Media (News Online) learnt this today being on Monday, Match 31, 2025 in a press statement by CHIEF Dr. OGHENEOVO EDEWOR (JP) which was made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital as he emphasized the importance of fostering peaceful co-existence, understanding, and mutual respect, particularly during such a significant time of spiritual reflection and renewal.
The release by Chief Dr. Ogheneovo Edewor (JP) reads in parts: “As Muslims come together to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I urge all Muslim faithful to remember the essence of this holy occasion — a time for gratitude, sharing, and above all, showing love and tolerance towards one another. In these challenging times, it is more important than ever for people of all faiths and backgrounds to uphold the values of kindness, compassion, and unity.”
Chief Dr. OGHENEOVO EDEWOR (JP), who was a candidate at the last 2023 Delta Central Seenatorial election, pointed out that the spirit of Eid-el-Fitr is an opportunity for Muslims to not only celebrate their personal achievements in spiritual growth but also to extend goodwill to those around them.
The Urhobo born Philanthropist/ Businessman noted further noted that, “these values should transcend the borders of religious practice and extend into everyday life, fostering peace and harmony in communities across the world”.
The EJENEKPO OF EKU KINGDOM, also used the opportunity to remind Muslims to live as exemplars of the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), demonstrating a commitment to justice, fairness, and mutual respect. Chief Dr. Edewor stated: “Let us use this sacred time to remind ourselves of the true meaning of Eid—living a life that exemplifies peace and love, regardless of differences”.
