‎From: Delta State African Democratic Congress (ADC) State Working Committee
‎Chairman: Engr. Okolie C. Austine

‎It has come to the attention of the Delta State African Democratic Congress (ADC) State Working Committee, ably led by Engr. Okolie C. Austine, that a publication has been circulated to the general public announcing a so-called “Delta State ADC General Coalition Stakeholders Meeting” at PTI Conference Centre, Warri, in which the names of our highly respected National Chairman, Senator David Mark, and our amiable National Secretary, Chief Rauf Aregbesola, were mentioned as guests.

‎The Delta State ADC wishes to make it categorically clear that:

‎1. Official Awareness: We are only aware of a political pressure group known as G25, led by Mr. Fortune Oyadoghan, who approached the State Chairman with the intention of defecting with their members to the ADC. This event was scheduled by the G25 group at the PTI Conference Hall, with plans for the State Chairman to formally receive them.

‎2. Misrepresentation: We were surprised to see publications from the said group labeling their event as an ADC General Coalition Stakeholders Meeting, involving Mr. Akpavoka (who is neither a known member of G25 nor part of the original arrangements) and listing him as the No. 1 Convener, while the actual convener, Mr. Fortune, was placed as No. 2.

‎3. False Claims: Even more troubling, the organizers falsely declared that our National Chairman and National Secretary were part of the program without the knowledge or official notification to the Delta State ADC leadership. This constitutes a serious act of deception.

‎Our Position:
‎The Delta State ADC State Working Committee hereby distances itself completely from the said program. We are currently making plans for the official unveiling of the ADC General Coalition, which will be announced in due course. No individual or group is permitted to issue statements or make representations on behalf of ADC Delta State without official authorization.

‎We issue a strong warning to Mr. Akpavoka not to undermine the integrity of ADC Delta State.

‎We urge all ADC members and the general public to disregard the misleading information surrounding the said meeting.

‎Signed
‎Engr. Okolie C. Austine
‎State Chairman,
ADC
Delta State.
