High Chief Hon. Victor Egbo, Delta PDP State Youth Leader & Executive Assistant (EA) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Security matters, has commended the entire party faithfuls, precisely the Youths to had kept faith, fulfilled their promisee, having worked with the Executive Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa to had finished strong in his eight years administration as well as ensured that People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State secured victory in the just concluded Governorship elections that produced the new Delta Governor-elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor Okowa’s successor without any element of rancour in the State.
Delta PDP State Youth Leader, High Chief Victor Egbo made this remark while fielding questions from some group of Journalists at the reception ground, Owa Model Primary School Owa-Eke Road, Boji-Boji Owa, Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State as Delta Youths Celebrates double during a Thanksgiving Service organized to celebrate Governor Okowa’s developmental strides, to mark his successful tenures; eight years in office as Delta State Governor and most importantly thank God for Delta PDP victory that produced Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as new Delta Governor-elect.
Hon. Victor Egbo, an astute politician and Community Policing expert noted that, to “keep faith” means to continue to be loyal, believe in, support someone, something even when it is difficult. He said: “Keeping faith means to make a promise and keep to it. This virtue must first start with yourself. Believe that you can do something within your ability. When you believe in yourself you overcome self doubt, have the confidence to take action and get something done”.
While attributing the PDP party’s victory to God Almighty through his divine mercy and grace in the atoning blood of the lord Jesus Christ, he used the medium to appreciate the efforts made by Delta Youths as he admired their strong political vibes, great inspiration, doggedness and focus in their unflinching resolve towards given their best and support to PDP & Oborevwori in the just concluded general elections in the State as well as Governor Okowa’s PDP led administration in the State for the past eight years.
Victor Egbo, a seasoned, World-class Youth leader & Peace advocate par excellence, also commended both male and female Youth leaders of the party, different Youth coalitions,Youth groups, pressure groups, support groups, youth associations, civil society organizations, and other critical stakeholders; including the citizens for believing in Governor Okowa’s stronger Delta agenda.
The hardworking and vibrant PDP party Leader then thanked the Youths ones again for giving their huge support to PDP in their various Senatorial Districts, Local Government Areas, Political wards and polling units in fulfilment of their promises. He stated that, Delta Youths vision, foresight and total believe in Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda towards advancing Delta and keeping to Governor Okowa’s Legacy in the State was their major drives that gave the party victory in Delta.
Moved by great enthusiasm on the mammoth crowd; dignitaries, very important personalities, Political leaders in Delta State, Youths in their large numbers across the three Senatorial Districts, 25 LGAs, entire political wards, polling units that graced the thanksgiving service at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Boji-Boji Owa Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta and consequently to the reception ground he gave all the glory to God Almighty.

I will also use this medium to thank my Boss, the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for his huge contributions to Socio-economic development of Delta State in the past eight years. I commend our great party PDP in Delta. I Congratulates the new Delta Governor-elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, I must also thank the entire Deltans, especially the Youths for their hardwork by voting massively for our great party PDP in just concluded general elections in Delta State”.
