*******DELTA STATE ADC EXCOS AND COALITION COMMITTEE HOLD STRATEGIC MEETING ON PARTY UNITY AND INCLUSIVENESS
The Delta State Executive Council of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in collaboration with the Coalition Committee, convened a strategic meeting on Tuesday, 14th October 2025, at the State Party Secretariat, Asaba, to deliberate on the way forward for the party in Delta State.
The meeting focused extensively on strengthening party unity, promoting inclusiveness, and ensuring that all party members, stakeholders, ADC Support Groups, intending aspirants, and other key actors are fully involved in party activities, particularly in preparation for the forthcoming official unveiling of the party in the state.
During the session, members reaffirmed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Delta State is anchored on the principles of transparency, accountability, and openness. The leadership emphasized that all individuals wishing to join the party must do so through proper and recognized channels, stating clearly that the party does not tolerate any form of backdoor registration or clandestine operations.
Addressing the gathering, the State Chairman of ADC, Engr. Austine C. Okolie, urged all individuals who have not formally resigned from their previous political parties to do so without delay and proceed to register at their respective wards to become bona fide and recognized members of the African Democratic Congress.
At the conclusion of the meeting, members unanimously agreed to convene a General Meeting in Asaba on Saturday, 25th October 2025. Further details regarding the venue and time will be communicated to the public in due course.
The State leadership enjoins all members, supporters, and well-wishers to take advantage of the forthcoming General Meeting to engage constructively and align themselves with the party’s progressive agenda.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) remains a party for all, deeply committed to fairness, inclusiveness, due process, and the collective advancement of democracy in Delta State and Nigeria at large.
