The mention of HRM, Obi (Dr.) Ezeagwu Ezenwali “Agadagidi” I, JP, the Obi of Umunede, stands out as well. As the first king in Ika and Anioma to ban the sewing of ‘Asoebi’ clothes for burial ceremonies, he made a groundbreaking decision that reflects thoughtful leadership and cultural reform.
IV: My Opinion of the Book:
From the very first page, this book captivated me. It paints a vivid picture of the greatness within the Ika heritage, countering the misconception that few remarkable individuals hail from this land.
This book profoundly taught me that there is greatness in my heritage as an Ika person. It reminded me that all things are possible if I believe in myself, stay industrious, and remain forward-thinking. It’s not just a book; it’s a call to action for every Ika indigene to rise and achieve.
Each story, accomplishment, and historical event documented in the book left me overjoyed, deeply inspired, and motivated to strive for excellence in my own life and I think it will impact on you the same way. It’s a celebration of the human spirit as expressed through the lives of Ika’s most notable achievers.
V: Areas for Improvement:
There are some areas for improvement in the book, since no book is without any mistakes, but I have discussed this with the author.
VI: Who Should Read This Book:
I highly recommend this book to Ika people, both young and old, who seek inspiration to achieve greatness in life. It’s particularly valuable for those who need proof that “if these great people did it, you can do it too.” Moreover, historians and enthusiasts of cultural history will find the book an invaluable resource.
Why You Should Buy This Book:
If you want to stay informed about the positive achievements of the people of Ika Nation, this book is a must-read. It showcases a tribe synonymous with greatness, proving that incredible feats can come from any corner of the world.
VII: CONCLUSION:
I thank the organizers of this book launch and the author of this book “Ika First Achievers & Events” 2nd Edition, for making today a reality and for inviting me as the book reviewer. I also sincerely thank God for life.
In my opinion, Africans should now overcome the malicious saying that “If you want to hide anything from Africans, then write it in a Book”; rather we should embrace the saying “Think before you speak. Read before you think.”
Fran Lebowitz. And we should also embrace the Chinese proverb that ‘Knowledge is the treasure of a wise man.’
And knowledge is mostly obtained from Books. So, with these in mind:Get a copy for yourself, to discover, celebrate, and be inspired by the power of possibility. Get copies for your spouse, your children, siblings, and friends. Get copies for school libraries, church libraries, state libraries etc, etc.
Thank you for the audience.
