Ladies and Gentlemen
I, Comr. Williamson U. D. Ovio-Onoweya, State Coordinator of DPV-PWDs Wing, on behalf of my humble State Executives and LGAs Coordinators wish to express our heartfelt appreciation for seeing this memorable and Maiden Inauguration, an epoch making history in over 23 years of Governance of Delta State. Joining the most acceptable platform in Delta Politics gladdens our hearts as PWDs in Delta State are now being mainstreamed into Delta Politics.
I cannot express my gratitude having been overwhelmed by the general acceptability of our loving, approachable and most humble National Chairman/ Visionary Leader Evang. (Hon) Michael Diden, our Delta South in-coming Senator for your encouragement given to me that has brought this vision and initiative to reality today, as we the PDWs now have hope in being part of the decision-making process in Delta State Government and PDP State, LGAs Wards Excos and all other committees for inclusivity and full participation in the forthcoming campaigns.
Sir, we promise and pledge out unalloyed, unflinching and unwavering support for ALL PDP CANDIDATES come 2023 General Elections.
We are hopeful you will continue to encourage PWDs to fully participate in Delta politics and we expect political appointments, freely-chosen members of DTHA, Slots of Chairman of LGAs, Slots of Supervisory Councilors, Slots of Board members, Slots of Empowerments and 5% Job Employment Slots for PWDs to put food on our tables.
Finally, may I use this medium to congratulate His Excellency, Sen. (Dr.) Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa on his recent elevation to the position of Vice Presidential Candidate to Alh. Atiku Abubakar and meritorious award of CON (Commander of the Order of the Niger) by His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria – More grease to your elbows our able Governor.
