Professor Sir Bashiru Aremu, the First African UNESCO Laureate, has been celebrated for his one-year anniversary as the Africa Chairman Board of Trustees of Unity of Nations Action for Climate Change Council (UNACCC) by Mr. Isaac Samson, a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Kaduna State University, Kaduna.
Shocknaija Media (News Online) learnt this from Mr. Isaac Samson in a telephone conversation with our reporter today being Saturday, November 25, 2025 as he showered tributes and congratulations to join notable individuals and organizations worldwide to celebrate the First African UNESCO, Laureate Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu on “One Year Anniversary as Africa Head, UNACCC”.
Mr. Isaac Samson, a Computer Science Lecturer at Kaduna State University, led the felicitations as he celebrated Professor Aremu for his remarkable achievements and contributions to humanity.
Speaking further to our reporter, Mr. Isaac Samson stated: “Aremu’s appointment as the Africa Chairman Board of Trustees of UNACCC is a testament to his dedication to promoting climate change awareness and sustainable development in Africa”.
“Professor Aremu’s impressive array of awards and honors is a reflection of his outstanding contributions to various fields. Some of his notable awards include the International Shakespeare Award for Literary Achievement, Outstanding Scientist of the 21st Century, and the World Acclaimed Distinguished Professor Emeritus Award”.
