‎The Delta State Chairman, African Democratic Congress (ADC), Engr. Austine Okolie, has said that, the party under his leadership yesterday officially inaugurated the party’s State Coalition Committee in a milestone event to act as advisory body as he tasked members on collaboration with other electoral and critical stakeholders in the State.

Shocknaija Media (News Online) learnt this from Delta ADC Boss yesterday being Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from Delta ADC Boss at the party’s secretariat in Asaba, Delta State Capital as ADC Inaugurates Coalition Committee as advisory body for the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Engr Austine Okolie stated that,
the newly formed committee which comprises of representatives from all coalition partners of the party will serve as an advisory body to strengthen collaboration and cohesion within the party’s existing structure across the state. The State Legal Adviser who was ably represented by Mr. Richard Modunkwu during the ceremony, administered the Oath of Allegiance to all committee members, formally inducting them into their roles.

‎In his keynote address, Engr. Okolie emphasized the importance of unity and integration among all coalition partners. He assured party members that the existing party structure remains intact, while the new committee will work in close partnership with other critical stakeholders in the State. In his words: “ADC in Delta State must integrate all coalition partners. We are determined, we are focused, and we will not tolerate any form of anti-party activity,” Engr. Okolie, who also chairs the newly inaugurated committee”.

‎Also speaking at the event, the Finance Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Anthony Omonigho, reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to party growth and pledged full loyalty to the ADC. Also, Speaking is ‎Apostle Ebi Amos Peremene who expressed optimism and satisfaction that all coalition partners in Delta State have unanimously agreed to collaborate, a move he described as a step in the right direction for party unity.

Other party leaders who spoke at the ceremony are: ‎The State Publicity Chairman of the Committee, Bishop Obiajulu who then encouraged members to work diligently, stressing that with collective efforts, ADC will emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections at all levels. ‎Speaking on behalf of the women, Mrs. Chiwe Ejodor, the Woman Leader of the committee, declared the women’s readiness to mobilize support for the party. She described ADC as the only way forward for Delta State and Nigeria at large.

‎Finally, Hon. Dr. Nkadi Okocha, Secretary of the Contact and Mobilization Committee, reiterated the Committee Members’ commitment to working closely with the established structuret in the state. In his words: “All hands must be on decks to deliver results. This inauguration marks a new chapter in the party’s drive toward unity, grassroots mobilization, and strategic collaboration ahead of the 2027 elections”.
