, Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu has congratulated Prof Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilesa, Osun State Nigeria as he prays for Prof Asaolu’s future success on his new appointment.
The media learnt this from Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu, World Acclaimed Distinguished Universities Research Professor of Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology at
Department of Computer Science, Mewar International University New Karu Via Abuja Nigeria as he got Information today being on Monday, March 17, 2023 in a press statement made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital by UNESCO Laureate’s Executive Assistant On Media, Publicity and Communication Matters, Comrade Sir Bieni Victor Emenike, while he urged the new institution’s VC to lead with the fear if God.
You could recall that Prof Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu has held sway as the first Professor of Accounting, Obafemi Awolowo University. Prof Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu holds ACS, B.Sc, Csc, MBA, M.Phil, Ph.D, FCA. He was first employed by OAU in 1989 as an internal Auditor 2 and later transfered to Department of Management and Accounting in 1993 as a Lecturer 1 upon his qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
Prof Sir Bashiru Aremu who is currently also serve as World Acclaimed Distinguished Universities Research Professor of Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology as his home based University in Nigeria in the Department of Computer Science at first Indian University in Africa, Mewar International University New Karu Via Abuja, Nigeria.
Apart from that Mewar International University also listed as a member of Global Recognized Research University of Crown University Int’l Chartered Inc as one of it’s government regulated Research universities and member of Official partners constituents Campuses worldwide and online operation.

“I, UNESCO Laureate World Acclaimed Distinguished Universities Research Professor Sir Bashiru Aremu can attest to you capacity to deliver on your new appointment as pioneer Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria. He served as Head, Department of Management and Accounting and Coordinator, Executive MBA Programme for 5 years between 2008 and 2014.
He was elected to serve as the Dean, Faculty of Administration between 2014 and 2016″.
“He has published over 60 journal articles and textbooks covering different areas of Accounting, Management and Entrepreneurs. He attended primary and secondary schools in Ibadan and sat for the WASCE in 1980. He attended the University of Ife in 1983 to study Accounting and graduated in 1987”.
