The duo of Convener of Delta State Political Assembly (DSPA) & CEO of Nelrose Hotels & Suites, Asaba, and State Coordinator, Delta State Political Assembly (DSPA), Comrade Williams Ugbo, today being on Saturday, March 25, 2023, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevweri, PDP 2023 Governorship Candidate for his landslide victory as Governor-elect of Delta State in the March 18, 2023 Gubernatorial elections in Delta State.
The media learnt this today being on Monday, March 27, 2023 from the duo of the Convener of Delta State Political Assembly, DSPA & CEO of Nelrose Hotels & Suites, Asaba, Prince Uzoma Idaboh, DSPA Group’s State Coordinator, Comrade Williams Ugbo in a press statement made available to some group of Journalists in Asaba, Delta State capital as group tasks Delta Governor-elect on promotion of viable economic development, even development of the State and spread of dividends of democracy to every Deltans.
You could recall that earlier last week being on Monday, March 20, 2023 INEC had announced the candidate of PDP for the 2023 Gubernatorial elections in Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as Delta Governor-elect. Sheriff Oborevwori scored a total of 360, 234 votes in 21 LGAs to beat his closest rival, Delta APC Guber candidate, Senator Ovie Omo Agege who scored 240, 229 votes in 4 LGAs of Delta State in the March 18, 2023 Gubernatorial elections.
Delta State Political Assembly, DSPA, a Socio-political pressure group Inaugurated at Nelrose Hotels, Asaba on October 21, 2022, a day before Sheriff’s case was decided in court as Delta 2023 PDP Guber candidate. DSPA with ultmost good faith in God, without being scared believed God for Sheriff’s victory in court, despite all the odds, the DSPA prayed to God and lights of first victory came to their principal on October 22, 2022.
The leadership while thanking Deltans for their support to the leadership of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State towards clinching victory for the Governor-elect, restates Commitment to given maximum support to the Governor-elect to give Deltans the needed good governance for viable economic development and Youths emancipation in the State.
The leadership stated: “DSPA is one of the formidable PDP Volunteer groups under the party’s Delta Guber Campaign Council a socio- political pressure group that campaigned vigorously for the victory of PDP and all its Candidates in this 2023 general elections. The group had great strong believe in Oborevwori’s M.O.RE agenda to give Deltans good governance, more dividends of democracy with high regards on Oborevwori’s exceptional administrative traits”
Delta State Political Assembly, DSPA Boss, Comrade Williams Ugbo comended Deltans, members of DSPA group for their immense support to PDP. The group also commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and Oborevwori for their hardwork and perseverance towards clinching victory for the party in this year’s general elections in Delta State. He then urged all the contestants to shield their swords, work together with Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori towards the advancement of Delta State and fulfilment of his campaign promises and M.O.R.E agenda policy for a prosperous Delta State when Inaugurated this year by May 29, 2023.
The leadership of DSPA also enjoined the Governor-elect to ensure that he massively empowers and develop the youths in the State as part of efforts towards strengthening his human capital development agenda. He also enjoined the Governor-elect to sustain his uncommon open door policy and accessibility after he is Inaugurated this year come May 29th, 2023.
